Je suis allée déjeuner seule dans ce restaurant indonésien et c’était trop bien ! Je crois que je n’ai jamais autant savouré un plat de ma vie (alleeezzz et on recommence à exagérer). Certes, les serveurs me regardaient d’un air curieux. Avec tous mes cahiers et stylos sur la table j’aurai (presque) pu me faire passer pour une grande critique gastronomique ! La décoration n’a rien d’extraordinaire en revanche il faut absolument qu’on débriefe ensemble le plat que j’ai mangé. Accrochez-vous : nouilles + banane flambée + œufs + poulet + pousses de soja + légumes + pommes de terre croustillantes. Light ! Menu déjeuner 18€, choisi au hasard car je n’ai compris ni le serveur ni le menu. Point stratégique (et c’est lààà que les choses deviennent intéressantes) puisque le restaurant se situe à 2 minutes à pieds du Rijksmuseum et du Stedelijk Museum (imprononçables). Conseil : déjeunez-y et passez une après-midi culturelle. Au top ! N.B : se sont des amis Hollandais qui m’ont recommandé cette adresse.

I went to have lunch on my own in this Indonesian restaurant, and it was really great! I think that I have never savored a dish more than I have this one, in my life (and heeeeere comes the exaggeration again). Anyway, the waiters were looking at me in a funny way with all my papers, pens and books on the table. I (almost) could have pretended to be an important food critic! The décor has nothing special to it, but we do need to talk about what I ate for a minute. Hang on to your chairs people: noodles + bananas foster + eggs + chicken + soy sprouts + vegetables + crispy potatoes. Light! The lunch menu was 18€, chosen completely at random because I couldn’t understand neither the waiter nor the menu. Strategic point (and this is where things get interesting), because the restaurant is located only 2 minutes away by foot from the Rijksmuseum and the Stedelijk Museum (unpronounceable). Advice: go there for lunch, and spend a cultural afternoon. Perfect! N.B: this address was recommended to me by some of my Dutch friends.
