Situé au coin d’une rue entre Greenwich et Soho, ce spot carribéen est un lieu incontournable pour toute personne désirant vivre une expérience énergisante. QG des branchés new-yorkais, cet endroit est divisé en trois espaces: restaurant jamaïcain, disquaire et bar à jus de fruits. L’atmosphère qui s’y dégage est certainement le point fort de cette institution, que l’on pourrait très bien imaginer au bord d’une plage de sable blanc, sur les côtes jamaïquaines. La décoration, orchestrée par Serge Becker (La Esquina, The Box) est authentique, accueillante et très colorée. Le staff est magnifique, tous plus lookés les uns que les autres. Et cette musique, diffusée sur Radio Lily par le disquaire “next door”, enjolive le quartier entier. Un vrai bonheur. Pour les touristes ou les gens de passage, il existe la possibilité de prolonger le plaisir en écoutant Radio Lily sur Internet. Excellent choix musical, reggae soundtrack. Enfin pour ceux qui ont peu de temps, commander un jus de fruits conçus par Melvin (Dieu des jus) et siroter le sur le banc à l’extérieur afin de mieux pouvoir observer les allers-retours de ce fabuleux melting-pot.

Situated on a street corner between Greenwich and Soho, this Caribbean spot is an unavoidable place for anyone wishing to live an energizing experience. HQ of trendy New Yorker, this place is divided into three spaces: Jamaican restaurant, record dealer and a juice bar. The atmosphere, which is certainly the key point of this institution, will bring you all the way to the Jamaican coast on a beach covered in white sand. The decoration, orchestrated by Serge Becker (Esquina, The Box) is authentic, welcoming and colorful. The staff is magnificent, all very stylish. With great music broadcasted on Radio Lily by their record dealer, you will experience a real moment of happiness. Excellent musical choice, reggae soundtrack. If you do not have the appetite to try their coconut pancakes, order a fresh juice to go (conceived by Melvin, the God of juices) and sip it on their street bench outside. Let yourself take in all of New York’s energy and observe the round trips of the streets’ fabulous melting-pot.
