Quelle terrible nouvelle que d’apprendre que Automat, mon brunch préféré, a fermé ses portes. Trop triste ! On ne bannit cependant pas Dover Street car ça reste quand même un passage obligatoire. 4 institutions y résident : 1 – Dover Street Market (fermé le dimanche), le Colette / Opening Ceremony version UK. Le temple de Rei Kawabuko, fondatrice de la marque Comme Des Garçons. Sélection pointue, sept étages de belles sapes et staff ultra-looké. Au dernier étage se trouve le mini-café Rose Bakery. Salades, quiches et excellent « carrot cake » ! 2 – Victoria Beckham a ouvert sa première boutique juste sur le trottoir d’en face et elle est IN-CRO-YABLE (trop?). L’architecture du magasin est dingue, le parfum, les lumières, la musique, les couleurs, tout est extrêmement bien pensé. Et les sapes n’en parlons pas. Oui, ça donne toujours envie d’être PDG, maigre et puissante. 3 – Le designer John Rocha va bientôt fermer sa magnifique boutique. OUI, à jamaiiisss ! Passez donc lui dire au revoir avant qu’il ne soit trop tard. 4 – Après avoir claqué une somme monstrueuse chez Rocha (dernière collection ça se fête, non ?!) arrêtez vous chez Raw Press boire un jus frais. Un peu plus haut que DSM, au sous-sol du magasin Wolf & Badger.

How awful to learn this morning that Automat, which is my favorite brunch place, has closed its doors. So sad! Let us not ban Dover Street for that reason though, as it still stays a must do in the city. 4 institutions reside there : 1 – Dover Street Market (closed Sundays), the Colette / Opening Ceremony UK version. The Rei Kawabuko temple, founder of the brand Comme Des Garçons. Carefully selected items, seven floors of great clothes and super trendy staff. On the last floor you will find a mini café place called Rose Bakery. Salads, quiches and delicious carrot cake! 2 – Victoria Beckham has opened her first boutique just across the street and it is IN-CRE-DI-BLE (too much?). The architecture of the shop is amazing, the smell, the lighting, the music, the colors, everything is so wonderfully thought of. And the clothes, well, no need to go on about those. Yes, it always gives you the will to become CEO of your own company, skinny and powerful. 3 – The designer John Rocha will soon close his gorgeous boutique. YESSS, forever!! So go and say a quick goodbye before it’s too late. 4 – After having spent a tremendous amount of money at Rocha (last collection deserves a celebration don’t you think?), stop by Raw Press for a fresh fruit juice. A little higher on Dover Street, on the underground floor of the Wolf & Badger shop.
