Je vous en parlais la semaine dernière ! J’ai découvert ce restaurant grâce à mon amie Carol et je l’ai trouvé tellement sublime que j’ai eu envie de partager son design tropical et ethnique avec vous. Pour moi c’est comme un trésor niché au cœur de la ville (amis poètes, bonsoir) ! Devenue une de mes adresses préférées à Rio, ce restaurant se situe à 10 minutes de l’Hôtel Santa Teresa. Une petite merveille ! Je m’y suis rendue avec mes copains brésiliens, nous y avons déjeuné de 15 à 17 heures, la vue est imprenable, le service excellent et on y mange divinement bien. Belle fréquentation et produits locaux. Les musts ? Salade de cœurs de palmiers frais (partagez-en une ça suffit largement), le riz Carioca et la caipiroska Santa Teresa (je ne vous raconte même pas la descente jusqu’à l’hôtel). Le restaurant est composé de petites terrasses et cabanes en bois, la cuisine est ouverte, on y déjeune au milieu des manguiers. Pensez  à réserver car plein le weekend ! Ethnique tropical chic!

I was actually talking about this place just last week! I discovered this restaurant through my friend Carol, and found it so amazing that I wanted to share its tropical and very ethnic design with you. To me it’s like a treasure hidden in the heart of the city (feeling like a poet today)! This restaurant is located 10 minutes away from the Santa Teresa Hotel, and has quickly become one of my favorite addresses. A true marvel! I went there with my Brazilian friends, we had lunch from 3 to 5pm, the view is spectacular, the service excellent, and the food is amazing. The clientele is nice and the products are local. The must-haves? A fresh hearts of palm salad (sharing it would still leave you plenty for yourself), Carioca rice, and the Santa Teresa caipiroska (I won’t even start to tell you about the downhill walk back to the hotel after that). The restaurant consists of small terraces, wooden huts, an open kitchen, and you eat amongst mango trees. Think of reserving because it’s packed during the weekend! Tropical ethnic chic!
